Child Tax Credit Act
The Child Tax Credit is an effort to help low and middle-class families save money by receiving relief in the form of a Tax Credit (a tax incentive cut from your taxes) and Monthly Payments. In the Child Tax Credit Act, parents will be eligible to receive up to $250-$300 on monthly payments per child. The Act has also increased the credit from $2,000 to $3,000 for children over the age of six, and $3,600 for children under the age of six. This Act is an extension of President Biden’s Build Back Better Agenda as well.
